October 1st, 2007 by Greg Sterling InfoNXX, the owner of 118118 in the UK and 118218 in France, has quietly launched the local search site 118.com in the US. InfoNXX is also on track to buy Deutsche Telekom’s directory assistance business for almost $800 million.
