Are you in search for something fun to do, an exciting place to eat, information on the community or a new home? We have the solution to all four.
As a newspaper, we are the information portal to the community, and we want to share useful content with you. That’s why we distribute four fabulous guides that are available free on newsstands.
The latest is the North Country Dining Guide, available now throughout the North Country area for the summer season. This guide, which has won awards from New York Newspaper Advertising and Marketing Executives Association, is published by the Lake Placid News and Adirondack Daily Enterprise three times a year, with summer, fall and winter editions. The guide has over 56 menus and information on the ambiance of each restaurant in Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, Tupper Lake and Wilmington. A useful map showing the locations of the restaurants is also included.
Our annual guide to Tri-Lakes region resources, the Community Resource Directory, is also available for free at newsstands. This is a comprehensive directory to schools, hospitals, organizations and municipalities that offer assistance in Essex and Franklin County.
By Memorial Day, the biggest and most widely distributed vacation guide around, the Adirondack Summer Vacation Guide, will be published for the busiest six months of the year. Want to know what exciting attractions are happening in the towns and villages in the Adirondacks? Then look at the schedule of events for all the towns and villages in the Adirondack Summer Vacation Guide, found at your nearest supermarket, convenience store or anywhere where information brochures are distributed.
We also publish a monthly real estate guide, Adirondack Living, that is also distributed with the other free guides published by Adirondack Daily Enterprise and Lake Placid News. If you are looking for a better home, camp, business or land, the monthly guide is also available by mail.
